MainAd_RetiredList_DBWS_4.24.13_NA
It's that time of year again, when we have to say goodbye to awesome stuff in the catalog. It's always a sad, sad time.

We have to discontinue some stamp sets to make room for new and beautiful ones. These are the ones that will not be available after May this year.

Mother's Day. Teacher appreciation. Just because. Say thank you with this no-maintenance bouquet. There's no watering, no weeding-just enjoying. This easy-to-assemble kit comes complete with the petals, stems, and buttons to create the flowers, as well as four different tags to make this the perfect gift for any occasion. All you need is some paper, ribbon or a vase to add the finishing touches to the bouquet.
As if that weren't enough, the kit contains a "baker's dozen"! This means you can create and give (or keep) a dozen flowers, and have a bonus flower left over to pass along to someone new! Give it to someone you wouldn't normally think of: a teller at the bank, a grocery store clerk, or the librarian at your local library. Anyone you encounter on your way that you'd like to give a little "thank you" to-and introduce them to Stampin' Up!

  • This kit can appeal to both stampers and non-stampers; the ease of assembly means anyone can do it!
  • Use this kit for a quick and easy class! Just provide some adhesive, and your class preparation is done for you.
  • Add your own finishing touch to the bouquet: place it in a vase, wrap it up in tissue paper, decorative ribbon, or twine.
I love this Kit!!!!! You will too!
Just when I thought me and my blog were cooperating and being nice to each other I can't make that flippin' video come up nicely. I've been trying for half an hour. I've got stuff to do people. Yes, it's true that I'm planning on spending the entire day in my stamp room....I'm due, and I have to get ready for a ridiculously fun filled class on Thursday night and catch up on a couple of swaps....so I'm quitting the video. Please click the link though and watch it....these flowers really are beautiful. And easy. Which we like. Right?

Bombs away Birthday

We've searched long and hard for just the right material to be able to introduce completely clear stamping. And we've found it. We're excited to announce that we now have wood-mount, clear-mount AND photopolymer stamps! The new photopolymer will be an addition to our stamp line and will appeal to all types of stampers. Our top-quality photopolymer has just enough give to create a perfectly stamped image every time and with the introduction of our firm-foam pads, let's just say they're meant for each other! Photopolymer stamps will also be unique, fun designs that will inspire you and provide more versatile options you may not see in our traditional wood- and clear-mount stamp options.

What makes them so great?

They're entirely transparent for perfect placement every time!
They are durable. The photopolymer material is designed to last.
Can you say sticky? (Don't worry; in a good way.) These stamps stick amazingly well to our clear blocks.
They're age tested. They won't yellow or cloud up over time.
We could go on, but we'll let you try them for yourself.

They are clearly a great choice.  (come on now, that deserves at least a chuckle)

The Fine Print

-Photopolymer stamps will be offered on a trial basis. Based on popularity, we hope to release more photopolymer stamp sets over the coming months. At this time we don't plan on offering a line of photopolymer sets as expansive as our wood-mount and clear-mount lines.
-Not available in wood-mount or clear-mount.
-All photopolymer will be packaged in cello bag w/insert, but don't forget you can store them in our clear cases.

Silly Skittles fun

Have you seen this commercial?

We see it regularly on Teletoon. I adore commercials. I think some of the most creative people in the world are commercial writers.

Of course most commercials are absolute crappity crap crap. But every once in awhile there's a brilliant one. This one makes me laugh too....

I'm not saying that one was brilliant...I'm saying it made me laugh.

So my ridiculously adorable nephew and I were playing the other day and he says "open this door and look for Skittles". I thought whatever, I'll play along. Then he grabs his head and yells "ow" and falls on the floor. I can hear my sister laughing in the next room, and she tells me that they saw this funny Skittles commercial the day before. She was talking about the aforementioned Skittles commercial. When he fell down, he had just 'been hit by the paw'. Oh. Em. Gee. That's freaking cute.

Sooo....his third birthday was this weekend. I made him this card.

Get it?

If I had more time I would have made that first window spill out real Skittles and I would have made an even cooler pop out mechanism behind the other door. I was going to make a big paw come out of it but my nephew doesn't like when the cougar growls (on the tv version, there is no growl), so I thought I'd just leave it like this.

I still think I'm pretty fantastic.

And boy, do I love that kid.
